Top Heal Care Stocks To Watch For 2018

Anadarko Petroleum Corporation (NYSE:APC) has had an excellent year in terms of its stock price. Seeing an increase of over 150% since its 52-week low of $28.16, it has been a stock to watch. The question now becomes harder than ever to tell if there is more room to grow. I believe this came down to one large decision, one that I find to have been made correctly.

Before I focus on that decision, I would like to focus on the company’s current market position. Due to many factors that I have outlined in a previous article, I see a highly positive outlook for the exploration and production subsector as a whole. Given that, Anadarko has made many moves in the past months that have led me to see a bright future for it.

In this environment, investors should be looking to add the banks to their portfolios. He likes Goldman Sachs (GS) and First Horizon National (FHN) , which appeared on “Mad Money” last week. He would avoid any high-yielding stock however, as they are getting increased competition from risk-free Treasuries.

The Industry Focuscrew recently debuted coverage ofEst茅e Lauder (NYSE:EL), and an Ulta Beauty(NASDAQ:ULTA) shareholder wants to know:

We hold Ulta and have watched its stock go on sale over these months, unfortunately. It was interesting that Est茅e Lauder hadn’t listed them as a competitor. I guess these companies thrive together, then. Both are staking their growth on premium products like MAC, for example. I hadn’t anticipated anything like the decline in Ulta, and I’m further surprised at its contrast with Est茅e Lauder. Can you square the market’s perspective here?

With this in mind, I thought I would share three companies that I recently added to my portfolio: uniform rental company Cintas (NASDAQ:CTAS), beauty and personal care product retailer Estee Lauder Company (NYSE:EL), and global market maker Intercontinental Exchange (NYSE:ICE). Here’s why I think they are great investments and why they made it into my portfolio.

Top Heal Care Stocks To Watch For 2018: Texas Instruments Incorporated(TXN)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Keith Speights]

That’s a pretty good definition of leadership, but it’s not an easy one to accomplish. However, the CEOs of Celgene (NASDAQ:CELG), Cognizant Technology Solutions (NASDAQ:CTSH), General Electric (NYSE:GE), MasterCard (NYSE:MA), and Texas Instruments (NASDAQ:TXN) have been able to achieve this translation very well.

Texas Instruments Inc. (TXN) and Teradyne Inc. (TER) are the next major semiconductor stocks to report, with financials expected after the closing bell on Tuesday, April 24.

  • [By ]

Though Texas Instruments’s (TXN) automotive chip sales have been registering healthy double-digit growth for several years, COO Brian Crutcher argued at a recent Goldman Sachs conference that the industrial vertical is TI’s “best growth opportunity” going forward. “I love automotive…but…we cover over 500 end equipments or end products in industrial. And every single one of them are trying to make their systems smarter, more intelligent, transfer more data, faster. All those things need electronics,” he said.

Semiconductor veteran Texas Instruments (NASDAQ:TXN) reported first-quarter results after the closing bell on Tuesday, and ripped Wall Street’s estimates to shreds. TI’s shares surged nearly 6% higher in after-hours trading, largely erasing the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) hangover that hit the same stock a week ago.

Texas Instruments Inc. (NASDAQ: TXN) is set to report its fourth-quarter results on Tuesday. The analysts consensus estimates are EPS of $1.09 and $3.74 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $116.83 as last week came to a close. The consensus price target is $105.41, and the stock has a 52-week range of $74.16 to $119.98.

Texas Instruments Inc. (NASDAQ: TXN) closed out 2016 at $72.97, and Merrill Lynch has a price objective of $82.00. If you consider the 2.7% dividend yield, Merrill Lynch is calling for Texas Instruments to generate a return of 15%. What investors might want to consider is that the consensus analyst target price is $74.89, very close to the current price, but Merrill Lynch’s price objective is exactly $10 less than the most aggressive price target on Wall Street. Texas Instruments has a 52-week range of $46.73 to $75.25. RBC was also positive here on Texas Instruments and other large caps.
