After its $8.5 billion spin-merger of its Enterprise Service business with Computer Sciences Corp. last quarter, Hewlett Packard Enterprise (NYSE:HPE) has just announced an $8.8 billion deal to spin-merge its non-core software assets with Micro Focus. 1. Toshiba shares tank: Shares in Toshiba (TOSYY) dropped 12% in Japan on Tuesday after the company warned it’s expecting billion of dollars in losses related to its takeover of a nuclear business last year.
