1. Toshiba shares tank: Shares in Toshiba (TOSYY) dropped 12% in Japan on Tuesday after the company warned it’s expecting billion of dollars in losses related to its takeover of a nuclear business last year.

China led the world in expanding renewable energy capacity in the last year, and its set to grow by another 60% over the next half decade, according to a report released Tuesday by the International Energy Agency.
