Top 10 Undervalued Stocks To Invest In 2019

Buying stocks that are cheap and out of favor to capture extra return when they eventually recover—a cornerstone of value investing—has worked for decades, but may no longer be a sound strategy due to shifts in how markets operate, according to Jeremy Grantham, founder of asset manager GMO.

Students of Benjamin Graham, author of The Intelligent Investor, widely considered the bible of value investing, rely on a phenomenon called mean reversion. Simply put, many stocks that become undervalued should eventually recover, while stocks that become overpriced should eventually return to earth.

Advisors’ Opinion:

Early-stage lithium producer Orocobre (OTCPK:OROCF) has been busy developing its Argentine flag-ship asset at Olaroz. The company has managed to scale up the asset to around 12,000 T / year LCE with a nameplate production capacity of 17,500 T / year. Although the company has not achieved full production capacity at its asset, it has moved ahead with joint venture partner Toyota Tsusho (OTCPK:TYHOF) to develop plans for Phase 2. In January 2018, Orocobre announced that Toyota Tsusho would invest nearly $300 million for a 15% stake in the company, along with plans to double production capacity at Olaroz to 42,000 T LCE / year. The joint venture is also building a lithium hydroxide facility in Japan which will supply the local battery supply chain.

In connection with the supply of lithium chemicals, NorthVolt has agreed to deliver to Nemaska a 10 million euro promissory note that can be converted into voting shares of NorthVolt.

Top 10 Undervalued Stocks To Invest In 2019: Insys Therapeutics, Inc.(INSY)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Dan Caplinger]

The stock market has been moving sharply higher lately, and Wednesday was no exception. A 0.6% gain for the Dow Jones Industrial Average matched well with similar-sized jumps in other major indexes, with investors taking comfort from encouraging readings on the macroeconomic front. Yet even though much of the market continued to build on gains from earlier in the week, some stocks weren’t able to participate in the rally. Express (NYSE:EXPR), Roku (NASDAQ:ROKU), and Insys Therapeutics (NASDAQ:INSY) were among the worst performers. Here’s why they did so poorly.

  • [By Keith Speights]

Insys Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INSY) and Cara Therapeutics (NASDAQ:CARA) fall into the third category. However, the designations of both Insys and Cara as marijuana stocks warrant an asterisk. Insys’ cannabinoid drug Syndros is based on a synthetic form of THC, the primary psychoactive chemical in marijuana. Cara has a cannabinoid receptor agonist, CR701, in preclinical development.

  • [By Sean Williams]

There’s no amount of caution tape that would be sufficient to wall off Insys Therapeutics (NASDAQ:INSY) from unsuspecting investors. This drugmaker, which focuses part of its research and product line on cannabinoids or synthetic cannabis compounds, wound up losing 1.1% in January and has shed well over 90% of its value in the past 3.5 years.

Top 10 Undervalued Stocks To Invest In 2019: U.S. Silica Holdings, Inc.(SLCA)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Stephan Byrd]

    B. Riley set a $19.00 price objective on U.S. Silica (NYSE:SLCA) in a research note published on Friday. The brokerage currently has a buy rating on the mining company’s stock. B. Riley also issued estimates for U.S. Silica’s FY2021 earnings at $0.81 EPS.

  • [By Maxx Chatsko]

Despite posting a sharp recovery in operations in 2017 compared to 2016, frack sand supplier U.S. Silica (NYSE:SLCA) just can’t seem to earn the respect of Wall Street analysts. Shares have fallen 22% in the last year. Some of that is easy to understand considering how badly the company (and the industry as a whole) overshot market demand in the past, which crashed sand prices and wiped out profitability. But I think there’s enough evidence that management has learned valuable lessons and put them into practice this time around.

  • [By Tyler Crowe]

That isn’t the case in many parts of the country anymore as capacity constraints and labor shortages are making everything more expensive. That’s bad news for producers because it likely means that break-even costs will increase. However, those that can introduce ways to improve efficiency will likely do quite well. One example Miller mentioned was containerized sand, a concept spearheaded by two frack sand producers: U.S. Silica Holdings (NYSE:SLCA) and Hi-Crush Partners (NYSE:HCLP). These companies have developed sand hoppers that reduce last-mile shipping and loading times by more than 75%. This translates to significantly fewer trucks needed to move the same amount of sand and less downtime for producers. Both companies are seeing strong demand for the service, and it translates to much higher margins per ton of sand sold compared to their peers.

  • [By Tyler Crowe]

Investing in frack sand supplier U.S. Silica Holdings (NYSE:SLCA) has been a roller-coaster ride to say the least over the past few years. First, everyone on Wall Street was clamoring to get into frack sand when shale oil and gas were getting their start in the first half of this decade. Then, oil prices started to crash, and demand for frack sand dried up fast. Now that oil and gas producers have significantly lowered costs and are using more sand than ever, demand is red-hot again, but investors don’t seem to be interested.

The transaction, which the company will finance through a unique arrangement with leading asset manager BlackRock (NYSE:BLK), keeps it on track to grow its 3.6%-yielding dividend at a 12% to 15% annual pace all the way through 2023. • [By Matthew DiLallo]

Top Warren Buffett Stocks To Buy Right Now

It’s no wonder Warren Buffett loves bank stocks.

The legendary billionaire investor has more than 30% of his $170 billion portfolio at Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK-A) (NYSE: BRK.B) dedicated to this one industry.

The reason why is simple: Bank stocks possess many of the important Buffett must-haves to be considered for his portfolio. First, banking institutions serve an important societal need that will never go away. Second, banking business models are relatively simple to understand, a key requirement of Buffett’s investing philosophy. Third, despite the health of many banks improving dramatically since the 2008 financial crisis, some bank stocks are still trading at a bargain — a key indicator that now is the best time to invest. Let’s examine the basics of bank stock investing, the history of bank stocks, and how to know when you’ve found one worth investing in.

Top Warren Buffett Stocks To Buy Right Now: Tata Motors Ltd(TTM)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Dan Caplinger]

U.S. stocks have enjoyed years of strong gains, but the situation hasn’t been as rosy for many companies that do business across the globe. India’s Tata Motors (NYSE:TTM), which owns key car brands such as Jaguar and Land Rover, gave investors an extremely tough financial report that led to two days’ worth of severe share-price declines. Yet closer to home, Motorola Solutions (NYSE:MSI) has made a name for itself with its services to enterprise and government customers.

  • [By ]

Tata Motors Limited (NYSE: TTM) has a significant advantage in its home market of India with tariffs of up to 200% on imported vehicles. A depreciation in the rupee over the last few years has also made foreign cars relatively more expensive and protected the company’s 45% market share in this growing market.

  • [By Jon C. Ogg]

Tata Motors Ltd. (NYSE: TTM) was down almost 10% at $11.40 on Thursday and down another 6.5% at $10.65 for its American depositary shares after posting a loss. Tata was downgraded to Neutral from Buy at Merrill Lynch, and Nomura/Instinet downgraded it to Neutral as well. The 52-week trading range is $10.49 to $29.39.

  • [By John Rosevear]

Shares of Indian automaker Tata Motors (NYSE:TTM) fell sharply on Tuesday morning, after the company announced that its important Jaguar Land Rover subsidiary will cut production after a sharp drop in sales in China.

  • [By Money Morning Staff Reports]

Take Tata Motors Ltd. (NYSE: TTM) for example. The Indian carmaker has nearly tripled its profits since 2010 and has grown sales for nine of the last 10 years. Plus, it sports a price/earnings ratio of just 12.6, about half of the S&P 500 average, so you’re not overpaying to access those profits.

  • [By Stephan Byrd]

News headlines about Tata Motors (NYSE:TTM) have trended somewhat positive on Monday, Accern reports. Accern scores the sentiment of press coverage by reviewing more than 20 million news and blog sources in real-time. Accern ranks coverage of companies on a scale of negative one to one, with scores closest to one being the most favorable. Tata Motors earned a news impact score of 0.23 on Accern’s scale. Accern also assigned news headlines about the company an impact score of 46.2298115164749 out of 100, meaning that recent press coverage is somewhat unlikely to have an impact on the stock’s share price in the next few days.

Top Warren Buffett Stocks To Buy Right Now: MPLX LP(MPLX)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Tyler Crowe]

While there are likely loads of candidates out there that fit this description, three companies have stood out to me as high-yielding dividend stocks you might want to consider for your portfolio: pipeline master limited partnership MPLX (NYSE:MPLX), telecommunications giant Verizon Communications (NYSE:VZ), and mining titan Rio Tinto (NYSE:RIO).

  • [By Matthew DiLallo]

Targa Resources also signed a letter of intent with MPLX (NYSE:MPLX), NextEra Energy, and a privately held midstream company to develop the Whistler Pipeline. While the partners hope that this project will enter service by the end of 2020, they’ve only secured shippers for three-quarters of the pipeline’s capacity. Because of that, they might have trouble hitting that projected in-service date since the project seems to have fallen behind Kinder Morgan’s second gas pipeline, the Permian Highway Pipeline, which recently secured enough shippers to move forward. However, with Permian gas output on pace to double in the next decade, Targa should eventually fill this pipeline’s capacity.

  • [By Matthew DiLallo]

The best dividend growth stocks are those that give their investors a raise year in and year out. However, some companies aim even higher by providing their investors with increases every quarter. Two of these dividend dynamos are Magellan Midstream Partners (NYSE:MMP) and MPLX (NYSE:MPLX), which both should have plenty of fuel to continue increasing their payouts each quarter for at least the next few years.

Yet in spite of this momentum, drug developer Insys Therapeutics (NASDAQ:INSY) has been an absolute train wreck. Insys offers a broad spectrum of therapies in its product portfolio and pipeline, but it gets its association with “marijuana stocks” through its Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval of Syndros, a liquid dronabinol solution — i.e., a synthetic form of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive component of the cannabis plant — designed to treat chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, as well as anorexia associated with AIDS. It also has other cannabidiol-based products in development in its pipeline.

Shares of Insys Therapeutics (NASDAQ:INSY) rose 11% in June, according to data provided by S&P Global Market Intelligence. While the biotech is most famous for its opioid painkiller Subsys as well as Syndros, which is based on a compound in marijuana, it was clinical trial data from a new product that has investors excited.

  • [By Keith Speights]

Could the worst be over for Insys Therapeutics (NASDAQ:INSY)? The cannabinoid-focused biotech has been singing the blues for quite a while. Government investigations into its sales and marketing practices, plunging sales for its top product, and a major pipeline setback just a few days ago have caused the stock to sink.

Top 5 Warren Buffett Stocks To Own For 2019

Buried far down on page 21 of the 2014 Berkshire Hathaway annual shareholder letter was an important warning from Warren Buffett:

Local and state financial problems are accelerating, in large part because public entities promised pensions they couldnt afford.

Citizens and public officials typically under-appreciated the gigantic financial tapeworm that was born when promises were made that conflicted with a willingness to fund them.

Unfortunately, pension mathematics today remain a mystery to most Americans.

During the next decade, you will read a lot of news — bad news — about public pension plans.

As I explained in yesterdays Roadmap, we are already starting to see some of that bad news hit the tape.

In the case of public pension plans, Buffett is absolutely right about both the cause inept lawmakers making promises in a vacuum — and the future effects — financial pain for millions.

Plus, once you add in the additional problems at many private pension plans, the overall impact grows exponentially.

Top 5 Warren Buffett Stocks To Own For 2019: Franco-Nevada Corporation(FNV)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Tyler Crowe, Reuben Gregg Brewer, and Travis Hoium]

For people looking to build wealth, penny stocks simply aren’t worth it. You’re better off pursuing well-run businesses and letting the power of their earnings grow your position over the long haul. So we asked three of our Motley Fool investors to choose stocks they like right now that would be good alternatives. Here’s why they picked Cleveland-Cliffs (NYSE:CLF), Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), and Franco-Nevada Corporation (NYSE:FNV).

  • [By Reuben Gregg Brewer]

Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. (NYSE:WPM) is one of the largest silver and gold streaming companies in the world. However, over the last five years, Wheaton’s stock is down nearly 10% while peers Royal Gold, Inc. (NASDAQ:RGLD) and Franco-Nevada Corporation (NYSE:FNV) are up over 60% each. What’s going on at Wheaton, and is it worth buying what clearly looks like the industry laggard?

  • [By Neha Chamaria]

Silver prices soon lost ground, and so did Wheaton. Since the company depends heavily on the precious metal for revenue, Wheaton shares have, unsurprisingly, mirrored the trend in silver prices over the years. Meanwhile, rivals Franco-Nevada (NYSE:FNV) and Royal Gold (NASDAQ:RGLD) have been able to generate hefty returns for shareholders.

  • [By Shane Hupp]

ARP Americas LP cut its position in Franco-Nevada (NYSE:FNV) (TSE:FNV) by 35.9% in the 1st quarter, according to its most recent disclosure with the SEC. The fund owned 7,441 shares of the basic materials company’s stock after selling 4,167 shares during the period. ARP Americas LP’s holdings in Franco-Nevada were worth $507,000 as of its most recent SEC filing.

  • [By Reuben Gregg Brewer]

Gold streaming company Franco-Nevada Corporation (NYSE:FNV) offers investors a unique way to gain exposure to precious metals, but when you compare it to peers Royal Gold, Inc. (NASDAQ:RGLD) and Wheaton Precious Metals Corp. (NYSE:WPM)it looks relatively expensive. That said, if you are looking to gold for diversification you might still find that Franco-Nevada Corporation stock is a buy.

Top 5 Warren Buffett Stocks To Own For 2019: Insys Therapeutics, Inc.(INSY)

Insys Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INSY) and Cara Therapeutics (NASDAQ:CARA) fall into the third category. However, the designations of both Insys and Cara as marijuanastocks warrant an asterisk. Insys’ cannabinoid drug Syndros is based on a synthetic form of THC, the primary psychoactive chemical in marijuana. Cara has a cannabinoid receptor agonist, CR701, in preclinical development.

Hot Blue Chip Stocks To Watch For 2019

Timing the market is easily one of the most difficult parts of trading. In particular, calling the market bottom and knowing when to get in is usually something investors only know way after the fact. 24/7 Wall St. is looking back to when the S&P 500 bottomed back in March 2009 to see how some of the major blue chips have fared since then.

Back on March 6, 2009, the S&P 500 bottomed out at 666.79, and from there began perhaps the biggest bull market of the modern era. At the most recent close, the S&P 500 was at 2,779.60, more than quadrupling its bottom nearly nine years ago.

So how does this measure up against AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T)?

On an adjusted close basis, AT&T closed March 6, 2009, at $13.82 a share, or at $22.58 on an unadjusted basis. AT&T most recently closed at $36.87 on an adjusted basis.

Looking at the numbers, we can see that AT&Ts growth over this nine-year period was outpaced by the S&P 500 and the broad markets in general. This is one of the few instances where the market beat a blue chip in this period. Specifically, the telecom giant saw its shares gain just over 165%.

Hot Blue Chip Stocks To Watch For 2019: Seaspan Corporation(SSW)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Matthew DiLallo]

Shares of Seaspan Corporation (NYSE:SSW) rallied 15% last month thanks to a bullish analyst note.

    So what

Seaspan’s stock bobbed around the flatline for most of April until an analyst at Deutsche Bank upgraded the containership leasing company from hold to buy toward the end of the month. What stood out was the $13 price target, which was 85% above the bank’s previous one of $7 a share. Driving that bullish view is the expectation that Seaspan’s ability to deleverage its balance sheet and increase the dividend would fuel substantial share price appreciation in the future.

  • [By Shane Hupp]

SEASPAN Corp/SH SH (NYSE:SSW) hit a new 52-week high during trading on Tuesday . The stock traded as high as $10.47 and last traded at $9.97, with a volume of 33824 shares. The stock had previously closed at $10.07.

  • [By Maxx Chatsko]

That helps to explain why shares of Seaspan Corporation (NYSE:SSW) and Diana Shipping (NYSE:DSX) are up 36% and 28%, respectively, since the beginning of April. Both performances easily beat the 5% return of the S&P 500 in that span. However, even the healthy gains made recently don’t come close to erasing the losses accumulated in recent years, as both shipping leaders are down over 34% in the last three-year period.

Top 10 Heal Care Stocks To Buy For 2019

On Monday, our Under the Radar Moversnewsletter suggested going long on small cap international school stock Nord Anglia Education Inc (NYSE: NORD):

We’re stepping into Nord Anglia Education on a little bit of faith that the convergence of support and resistance since early last year is building up a breakout move. We also like the way NORD is finding support at its key long-term moving average lines, which should aid any bullish thrust by acting as a launchpad. What’s really so compelling, however, is the way the bullish volume has been building. The buyers have been testing the waters, but many more are apt to be waiting in the wings.

Note that unless we get a very good jump soon, we won’t be lingering in this trade for very long. The ceiling at $24.52 is a big one we don’t want to see any hesitation at.

The Intelligent Investor was written in 1949, but it’s still as relevant nearly 70 years later as it was back then. Benjamin Graham was right about how crazy the market can be at times. I think the experiences of two very different biotech stocks this week — Celgene (NASDAQ:CELG) and Insys Therapeutics (NASDAQ:INSY)– prove the point.

  • [By ]

Abbvie Inc. (ABBV) , for example, is generally just a pharmaceutical stock. However, the company also marketed Marinol, an FDA-approved synthetic cannabinoid meant to help nausea and vomiting in cancer and AIDS patients. INSYS Therapeutics, Inc. (INSY) is a pharmaceutical company that got approval from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for a synthetic cannabis – despite having donated to anti-marijuana advocacy groups in the past.

  • [By Keith Speights]

Insys Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INSY) and Cara Therapeutics (NASDAQ:CARA) fall into the third category.

William may be right about a sell-off in stocks… in the cryptocurrency space. Over the last week, companies that have billed themselves as blockchain-focused saw their stocks surge. One firm – Long Island Iced Tea changed its name to Long Island Blockchain and watched its stock surge more than triple digits. But today, firms with this exposure are cratering. MGT Capital Investments Inc. (OTCMKTS: MGTI), Long Island Iced Tea Corp. (Nasdaq: LTEA), Riot Blockchain Inc. (Nasdaq: RIOT), and Siebert Financial Corp. Top 10 Heal Care Stocks To Buy For 2019: Marathon Oil Corporation(MRO)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Matthew DiLallo]

The company’s Powder River Basinassets also generated strong drilling results, with several wells topping 1,000 BOE/D. Finally, while the company did drill four wells in the Bakken, it has deferred completing them until later this year. That program is one to keep an eye on given the results Marathon Oil (NYSE:MRO) delivered last quarter, when it completed record-setting wells in the Three Forks and Middle Bakken formations.

  • [By ]

Presto, West Texas Intermediate crude rose 3% to $71.18, the highest since December 2014, boosting shares of oil companies including Occidental (OXY) , which gained 4.8%, Marathon (MRO) , up 3.8%, and Apache (APA) , which gained 2.5%. Spot gasoline also rose 2.7% to $2.17 a gallon, boding ill for the summer driving season in the U.S. and potentially eroding any gains middle-class Americans received from the Trump tax cuts.

  • [By Matthew DiLallo]

Saudi Aramco’s valuation, however, isn’t the only one that would benefit from a pop in the price of crude. Many oil producers in the U.S. restructured their operations to run on $50 oil, so if the Saudi strategy is successful, these oil companies would produce a gusher of cash flow, which could fuel high-octane gains for investors. While that rise would likely lift the entire sector, Devon Energy (NYSE:DVN) and Marathon Oil (NYSE:MRO)could outperform in that scenario.

  • [By Matthew DiLallo]

Marathon Oil (NYSE:MRO) is another oil producer built for $50 oil. At that level, Marathon can generate enough cash to grow its U.S. oil production 25% to 30% this year, while at $60 oil, the company can produce $500 million in free cash — and even more at current prices. Marathon Oil has a range of options for that money, including buying back shares, boosting the dividend, paying off debt, or acquiring more drillable land.

Top 10 Low Price Stocks To Own For 2019

Protect American jobs by getting tough on China.

That’s the underlying idea behind President-elect Donald Trump’s threat of a 45% tariff against China as a ploy to bring jobs back to America.

Before pursuing that strategy, however, Trump might want to check out what happened when his predecessor tried that.

President Obama slapped a stiff 35% tariff on Chinese tires in 2009 after American companies complained about unfair competition. They said China was flooding America with tires at low prices making it tough for U.S. companies to compete. The tire tariff gradually waned, and finally ended in 2012.

The tariff saved 1,200 U.S. tire jobs, which had been in sharp decline. And U.S. tire production rose after a major decline.

“Over a thousand Americans are working today because we stopped a surge in Chinese tires,” Obama said in his 2012 State of the Union address.

But a study from the Peterson Institute of International Economics found that the tariffs cost Americans in many other ways.

QIm now on Medicare, but I had opened a health savings account when I was still working and was covered by a high-deductible health insurance policy. Can I transfer funds from a traditional IRA to a health savings account now? How much can be transferred?

A

You can only transfer money from an IRA to an HSA if youre eligible to make new HSA contributions. Because youve enrolled in Medicare, you can no longer contribute to your HSA, although you can use the money in the account tax-free for eligible medical expenses. And now that youre over 65, these expenses include Medicare parts B and D as well as Medicare Advantage premiums.

People who still qualify to make HSA contributions can make a one-time rollover from an IRA to an HSA, which can be a good way to build up the account if you dont have other cash to contribute. You must currently have an HSA-eligible health insurance policy with a deductible of at least $1,300 for single coverage or $2,600 for family coverage. The amount you can roll over is the same as your annual HSA contribution limit — up to $3,400 in 2017 if you have single coverage or $6,750 if you have family coverage, plus an extra $1,000 if youre 55 or older. The annual contribution limit is the same, whether the money is coming from cash or an IRA rollover or a combination of the two.

FAANG stocks are attempting to rebound today after a brutal sell-off hit the Nasdaq components Tuesday. The social media giant Facebook Inc. (Nasdaq: FB) will report earnings after the bell, but it’s likely that analysts are more interested in the company’s ongoing response to a data scandal that rocked investor sentiment and spurred privacy fears during the first quarter. Wall Street forecasts EPS of $1.36 on top of $11.45 billion in revenue.
Right now, the 10-year interest rate is sitting on the border of 3%. And this news has many investors jittery about the impact on the stock market and the broader economy. Of course, many people forget that interest rates remain historically low for this stage of an economic expansion. And inflation targets remain stubbornly elusive for members of the U.S. Federal Reserve. The truth is that investors have little to worry about regarding interest rates. Instead, they should listen to Money Morning Chief Investment Strategist Keith Fitz-Gerald, who offered his insight to Fox Business Network earlier this week. Here’s what Keith had to say.

The number of Americans hit by an already record-setting flu season continues to rise as hospitalization rates hit new highs, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Friday.

Hospitals are more crowded than in the 2014-2015 flu season, which marked the previous record when 710,000 Americans needed medical care to beat the illness, said Anne Schuchat, the CDC’s acting director. The agency also reported the deaths of an additional 16 children over the past week, bringing the total number of pediatric deaths attributed to the flu to 53 so far this season. Half of them had no additional health complications that would have placed them at elevated risk, Schuchat said.

(Related: CFOs Notice the Flu)

“This season is a somber reminder of why flu is one of the world’s biggest health challenges,” she said in a conference call. “Our latest data indicate flu is still high and widespread across most of the nation—and increasing overall.”

Best Dividend Stocks To Watch For 2018

The energy sector is feeling the pinch of low oil and natural gas prices, which has been a headwind for oil field services industry stalwart Helmerich & Payne, Inc. (NYSE:HP) and dragged down investor sentiment for midstream sector players Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) and Buckeye Partners, L.P. (NYSE:BPL). But each of these companies has a long history of increasing dividends annually, which means that the bad news today is likely to be good news for dividend lovers looking for big yields.

Picking up again

Helmerich & Payne builds, leases out, and operates drilling rigs. Its largest business is in the onshore U.S. market. That was very bad news in mid-2014 when oil prices started their tumble from over $100 a barrel to around $30. Although oil prices are higher than that now, they are nowhere near the $100 range. However, prices have picked up enough to get drillers back to work again.

Best Dividend Stocks To Watch For 2018: Insys Therapeutics, Inc.(INSY)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Casey Wilson]

Others, like cannabis biotech firm Insys Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: INSY), are direct plays in marijuana businesses that offer investors the opportunity for incredibly fast gains.

  • [By ]

Some people picture rows of cannabis plants growing in a greenhouse when they think of marijuana stocks. While that’s an appropriate image to have in mind for many marijuana stocks, it’s a different story for others. 22nd Century Group (NYSEMKT:XXII) and Insys Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INSY) are good examples.

  • [By Keith Speights]

In October 2017, I predicted that Insys Therapeutics (NASDAQ:INSY) could be the biggest comeback story of 2018.For a while, it looked like I was on the right track. Insys stock soared in the fourth quarter of 2017. By early January, it was one of the hottest marijuana stocks on the market. Then the momentum evaporated.
