Top 10 Warren Buffett Stocks To Buy Right Now

One of the best pieces of investing wisdom anyone ever offered was Warren Buffett, when he said: “It’s far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price.” Even better than that, though, is finding that wonderful company … at a wonderful price!

Of course, as it’s been a full nine years since the stock market took off on this amazing bull run, stocks that fit that description have become harder  to find — but not impossible. Here are two tech stocks that are not only wonderful companies, but trade at darn near wonderful prices too. Let’s take a closer look at HP Inc. (NYSE:HPQ) and Skyworks Solutions (NASDAQ:SWKS) to see why they would make wonderful additions to any portfolio.

Top 10 Warren Buffett Stocks To Buy Right Now: Aphria Inc. (APHQF)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Timothy Green, Neha Chamaria, and Rich Smith]

But with Amazon now valued at more than $800 billion, it will be difficult for the stock to put on an encore performance. Three of our contributors think Alibaba Group (NYSE:BABA), Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF), and Target (NYSE:TGT) could prove to be better investments than Amazon going forward. Here’s what you need to know.

  • [By Cory Renauer]

The North American Marijuana Index, which tracks the leading cannabis stocks in the U.S. and Canada, is right about where it was to start the year despite surging over the past few months of 2017. The same could be said for one of Canada’s larger growers. Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) stock has risen in recent weeks, but it’s still a bit below a peak it achieved in January.

  • [By ]

As of the time of this writing, the average price to sales ratio of the large Canadian cannabis producers is 40 (Aurora (OTCQX:ACBFF): 33; Canopy (OTCPK:TWMJF): 65; Aphria (OTCQB:APHQF): 28.5; MedReleaf (OTCPK:MEDFF): 35). Given iAnthus’ vertical integration and lack of competition, their margins should be significantly better than any of those firms. However, since they operate in the US where there is greater legal risk, we will reduce that multiple by half. Assuming the low end of expected revenue for 2018 of $20 million, and a P/S of 20, we arrive at a valuation of $400,000,000, giving us a one year price target of $5/share.

Top Casino Stocks To Invest In Right Now

More than two years after a government crackdown on corruption sent Macau gaming stocks tumbling, The Chinese government has unveiled yet another new regulation on the Macau gaming industry that has hit gaming stocks hard. The latest new law cut the daily ATM withdrawal limit in Macau from 10,000 patacas to 5,000 patacas, or roughly $626.

Unfortunately, transparency and predictability has never been one of the Chinese government’s strong points. Wynn Resorts, Limited (NASDAQ: WYNN) CEO Steve Wynn said the government’s behavior was “preposterous” when it kept operators in the dark about how many table games they would be allotted just weeks prior to opening billion-dollar new resorts. For the record, none of the major operators that have opened resorts in the past two years have received the table allotment they requested.

Although the U.S. gaming market likely doesn’t have the kind of long-term growth potential that Macau does, U.S. casinos are doing just fine these days. In the current fiscal year, Las Vegas Strip revenue is trending about 6% ahead of last year, and other regions of the country are doing even better. For better or worse, U.S. stock investors likely won’t have to worry about new regulations in the next four years under President-elect Trump.

Top Casino Stocks To Invest In Right Now: Aphria Inc. (APHQF)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Sean Williams]

One such major player is Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF). At the moment, Aphria is on track to be the third-largest producer by annual yield — approximately 230,0000 kilograms, by its own estimate — and it just so happens to have reported its third-quarter operating results last week. Let’s take a deeper dive into Aphria by looking at the 10 things you should know following its report.

  • [By Keith Speights]

He noted that some of the capacity projections from Canadian marijuana growers “are pretty bullish” and stated his opinion that not all of those projections will become reality. Battley echoed the sentiment expressed recently by Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) CEO Vic Neufield that some smaller players likely won’t survive. He also mentioned another reason Aurora isn’t concerned about a supply glut that we’ll discuss a little later.

  • [By Sean Williams]

As an example, Ontario-based Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) has two major projects under way – Aphria One and Aphria Diamond – which aren’t expected to be complete until sometime in January 2019. These facilities are expected to generate a respective 100,000 kilograms and 120,000 kilograms for Aphria (it’s worth noting that Aphria Diamond is a joint-venture with Double Diamond Farms). Along with the recently acquired Broken Coast Cannabis, Aphria’s 230,000 kilograms of annual production at full capacity are good enough for third-highest in Canada. Yet, given its relatively late project completion dates of January 2019, its tardiness could cost it retail consumers and long-term supply deals. The delay from July 2018 to perhaps October 2018 works in Aphria’s favor by narrowing the advantage of some of its peers that have completed projects.

  • [By Keith Speights]

Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) disappointed investors the last time it reported quarterly results in August because its revenue growth was underwhelming. Even worse, the Canadian marijuana grower predicted that its EBITDA could weaken in the future.

  • [By Todd Campbell]

Most cannabis companies are reporting losses because they need to invest in marijuana production capacity, product development, marketing, packaging, and distribution to capture their fair share of the $150 billion global marijuana market. Bottom-line profitability for the industry is likely to remain elusive for a while, but Aphria Inc.’s (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) top-tier gross margins suggests it’s positioned to be the most profit-friendly pot stock in the future.

Top Blue Chip Stocks To Buy Right Now

Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ:SBUX) has always been a tough one for me. On the one hand, the company has been a great performer over the long-term, but it’s been stuck in a multi-year lull.

In a way, it sort of reminds me of Walt Disney Co (NYSE:DIS). I touched on this fact a few weeks ago with Disney, in that it was disappointing for recent investors but over the last five years or more, it was still a big winner. In that time frame, Starbucks has been a better operator, but that hasn’t prevented shares from being hit.

Valuing Starbucks Stock

Despite this lull, I still consider SBUX a Future Blue Chip holding of mine and the reasoning is simple. Analysts still expect SBUX to grow revenue 11% this year and almost 10% in 2019. Criticism aside, this is still pretty impressive. On the earnings front, estimates call for more than 20% growth this year followed by just 12.5% growth in 2019.

Still, double-digit earnings and revenue growth is nothing to scoff at, even if the company isn’t churning out the types of numbers it did in the past. Admittedly, it would more encouraging if SBUX could get a U.S. comparable-store sales result north of 5%.

Top Blue Chip Stocks To Buy Right Now: Aphria Inc. (APHQF)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Sean Williams]

According to a report late last week from BNN Bloomberg, Molson Coors, which is reliant on Canada and the U.S., has been in discussions with at least four Canadian marijuana companies, including Aurora Cannabis (NASDAQOTH:ACBFF) and Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF), with the intent of making an investment in a pot company, as well as collaborating on cannabis-infused beverages. As you’ve probably already guessed, neither Molson Coors, nor the companies mentioned in BNN Bloomberg’s report, would comment on the discussions.

  • [By Sean Williams]

One such marijuana stock that has placed itself among Canada’s top-tier producers is Ontario-based Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF).

At the beginning of the year, Aphria was expected to produce around 100,000 kilograms of cannabis-equivalent production — i.e., dried cannabis, plus alternative products, such as oils and extracts — when at full capacity. This production was expected to derive almost entirely from its four-phase, more than $100 million project now known as Aphria One.

  • [By Keith Speights]

Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) ranks among the biggest marijuana growers. Auxly Cannabis Group (NASDAQOTH:CBWTF), which until a couple of weeks ago was known as Cannabis Wheaton, doesn’t. But both companies should soon enjoy tremendous sales growth thanks to the recent passage of bill C-45, which legalized the use of recreational marijuana in Canada.

Yesterday we wrote that we saw rampant red flags with Aphrias (OTCQB:APHQF) proposed Nuuvera (OTC:NUUVF) transaction. So far, 2018 isn’t turning out like shareholders of Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) and Emerald Health Therapeutics (NASDAQOTH:EMHTF) hoped. Aphria stock is down 45% year to date, while Emerald Health is down 16%. Several issues, including dilution caused by offering new shares and a delay in thelegalization of recreational marijuana in Canada, havetaken a toll on both stocks.

  • [By ]

Along with its major peers Canopy Growth (OTCPK:TWMJF) and Aphria (OTCQB:APHQF), it’s been underperforming so far in 2018, although that is probably going to change as legalization of recreational cannabis in Canada approaches. Whether or not that holds in the short term will be determined by supply and demand factors.

Hot High Tech Stocks To Own For 2019: Vera Bradley Inc.(VRA)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Garrett Baldwin]

Markets are cheering a major development in efforts to fix the ongoing trade conflict between the United States and China. According to Reuters, Chinese telecom giant ZTE has signed an agreement to get back into business with its American partners. The agreement will lift a ban by the U.S. Commerce Department that prevented China’s No. 2 telecommunications equipment from buying from U.S. suppliers. This is a major development, and one that signals progress among trade officials from both nations. There are now more job openings in the United States than available workers. This is the first time that the Department of Labor has documented this phenomenon. There are 6.7 million openings compared to the 6.4 million workers available to fill those positions. As a result, U.S. companies have been forced to increase compensation in order to attract talent. All of the positive economic development could come to a screeching halt should the U.S. experience the largest labor strike in a decade. Reports indicate that the Teamsters and the United Parcel Service (NYSE: UPS) are on a collision course that could result in a general strike. The union has announced that 260,000 UPS employees have authorized a strike should both sides fail to reach a labor deal by August 1. UPS is responsible for the transport of 6% of the nation’s gross domestic product.

America’s biggest bank is taking another shot at China’s huge financial markets.

JPMorgan Chase (JPM) is seeking approval from the Chinese government to launch a new brokerage in the world’s second biggest economy, just weeks after Beijing relaxed restrictions on foreign ownership of financial companies.

This will be the second attempt by the Wall Street giant to gain a serious foothold in China. In late 2016, it pulled out of a joint venture in which it had a 33% stake.

China’s securities regulator said Thursday it had received an application from JPMorgan seeking to establish a joint venture in which the bank would hold a controlling 51% stake. It didn’t say how long the approval process would take.

China pledged last November to allow foreign companies to own Chinese banks and investment firms for the first time. It followed through on part of that promise at the end of April, announcing new rules for foreign investment in securities firms and fund managers.

  • [By Sean Williams]

Should that not be enough to keep investors away from this merger, I’m also dumbfounded that Aurora would pay $2.5 billion for MedReleaf when it could get almost 100,000 kilograms more in annual capacity for a presumably similar buyout price by going after Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF). Keep in mind that this is merely hypothetical, and I’m not suggesting that Aurora should be buying any company with its need to finance everything with share issuances, but Aphria would appear to offer far more bang for the buck than MedReleaf.

Yesterday we wrote that we saw rampant red flags with Aphrias (OTCQB:APHQF) proposed Nuuvera (OTC:NUUVF) transaction. In particular, the transaction seemed to make little economic or strategic sense, and we had found it worrying that a self-described Aphria advisor named Andy DeFrancesco seemed to have business dealings with both sides of the deal.

The Best and Worst ETFs of 2016: Morningstar

It’s 2017. Do You Know Your Clients’ Tax Brackets?

The Donald J. Trump era is marking a new age for gold as an investor safe haven.

While the precious metal has always been hoarded in times of trouble, a bevy of political and economic surprises in 2016 sparked a surge in buying that sent bullion to the first annual gain in four years. Prices may rally about 13 percent in 2017, according to a Bloomberg survey of 26 analysts.

Four of the analysts in the Bloomberg survey predicted bullion would drop below $1,000 in 2017, particularly if the Federal Reserve raises interest rates three times next year and Trump makes good on his pledge to boost infrastructure spending to spur economic growth.

Holdings of the metal in exchange-traded funds — which had reached a three-year high in October — dropped for 33 straight days after the U.S. election on Nov. 8, the longest slide since 2004, data compiled by Bloomberg show.

Hot Performing Stocks To Watch For 2019

We have been fans of Swedbank (OTCPK:SWDBY) (OTCPK:SWDBF) for quite a while now. In July 2016, we published our first article on the name. At the time, Swedbank was offering a very compelling investment case. It was hard not to be bullish on the stock given its predictable revenue stream, robust asset quality trends, rock-solid capital ratios, appealing valuation multiples, and a very attractive dividend yield. Since then, the stock has had a good run, especially after taking into account the dividend. With that being said, Swedbank had a weak 2017. In fact, it was one of the worst-performing banking stocks in the Nordic region. Such a weak performance is mainly attributed to investor concerns regarding a potential bubble in the Swedish housing market. Indeed, after more than 10 years of impressive growth, property prices in Sweden have decreased by almost 10% since September 2017. However, the country’s macroeconomic environment remains robust. In our view, even a prolonged correction in the Sweden’s housing market should not be an issue for Swedbank’s asset quality, especially given its solid balance sheet and low loan-to-value ratios. As such, we believe market fears are overblown. With the stock trading at just 11x forward earnings and a 6.4% dividend, Swedbank is a buy, in our view.

Wall Street had its Cinco de Mayo celebration a day early, as the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished the session with a gain of more than 330 points. Investors were excited about what they saw as a Goldilocks-like reading on the U.S. economy in the April employment report, which featured modest job growth, rock-bottom unemployment rates, and slow enough wage growth to quell inflation fears and give the Federal Reserve latitude to raise interest rates more slowly going forward. Yet some companies still suffered at least perceived setbacks that sent their shares lower. Fluor (NYSE:FLR), Arista Networks (NYSE:ANET), and Appian (NASDAQ:APPN) were among the worst performers on the day. Here’s why they did so poorly.

The stock market finished lower on Friday, with triple-digit losses for the Dow Jones Industrial Average and modest declines of as much as half a percent for other major benchmarks. A mix of economic and political news kept investors on their toes to end the week, as fears of a possible attack on Syria watered down some of the potential upside that could have stemmed from solid earnings results from the banking sector during the morning. Even though many investors have pretty positive expectations going into earnings season, some companies suffered from disappointing news that sent their shares lower. Arista Networks (NYSE:ANET), Dropbox (NASDAQ:DBX), and MBIA (NYSE:MBI) were among the worst performers on the day. Here’s why they did so poorly.

What are the risks? First off, the Cannabis market in Canada is already competitive, and it’s the fifth largest company behind the likes of Canopy (OTCPK:TWMJF), Aurora (OTCQX:ACBFF), Aphria (OTCQB:APHQF), Medreleaf (OTCPK:MEDFF), and Cronos (OTC:CRON). What’s more, there are approximately 228 million fully diluted shares, selling at $3.16/share ($4.04/share $CAD), and the company generated $CAD4.09mm in 2017 revenues. That’s quite a premium, and Hydropothecary Corp. trades expensively at a 225x sales multiple. Caveat emptor.

  • [By Keith Speights]

So far, 2018 isn’t turning out like shareholders of Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) and Emerald Health Therapeutics (NASDAQOTH:EMHTF) hoped. Aphria stock is down 45% year to date, while Emerald Health is down 16%. Several issues, including dilution caused by offering new shares and a delay in thelegalization of recreational marijuana in Canada, havetaken a toll on both stocks.

Following Sessions’ rescinding of the Cole memo, a few of the Canadian players with eyes on the U.S. market began folding their cards. Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) announced in February, a month after Sessions rescinded the Cole memo, that it would be divesting its passive U.S. assets, which included a stake in Liberty Health Sciences. Aphria, like other Canadian growers, has reiterated its intention to stay out of markets where the federal government doesn’t support legalization in some capacity. Of course, with access to a dozen countries following its Nuuvera buyout, Aphria isn’t exactly hurting for places to sell or export its product.

Speaking of Canada, there probably also would be animmediate expansion by Canadian marijuana growers into the U.S. Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) was one of the few Canadian marijuana growers to build significant operations in the U.S. However, the company scaled back its U.S. presence after the Toronto Stock Exchange threatened to delist stocks of marijuana businesses with U.S. operations that violated federal anti-marijuana laws. If Cory Gardner is successful, it’s a pretty safe bet that Aphria will jump right back into the U.S. market, along with many of its peers.

free penny stock picks: Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V.(FCAU)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Douglas A. McIntyre]

The F-Series pickups are the best-selling vehicles in the United States by far. In second place, the Chevy Silverado had sales of 135,545 in the first three months of the year, up 5.5%. The fourth best-selling vehicle in the country for the period was Fiat Chrysler Automobile N.V.’s (NYSE: FCAU) Ram pickup, the sales of which were 103,964, down 12.3%. The sales of the three show how much the American car market is driven by full-sized pickups.

  • [By Rich Duprey]

The aftermarket segment remains the real weak spot for the powersports vehicle manufacturer. I was never very keen on the acquisition in part because it bought into a weakening market for Jeeps and light-duty trucks. Despite the massive 45% gain Fiat Chrysler (NYSE:FCAU) scored in Jeep sales in March (it was the brand’s biggest gain ever),sales had been down 11% in 2017 as fleet sales were reduced, suggesting TAP’s performance for Polaris could be a volatile one.

  • [By Douglas A. McIntyre]

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles N.V. (NYSE: FCAU) is moving a large number of jobs to Michigan. According to The Wall Street Journal:

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles said Thursday it would invest $1 billion to move production of profitable trucks from Mexico to Michigan, a move that will significantly lower the auto makers exposure to potential changes to Nafta.

  • [By Dan Caplinger]

The auto industry has been on top of its game for several years now, and both General Motors (NYSE:GM) and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (NYSE:FCAU) have retained their leadership positions near the top of the U.S. auto market. Yet as concerns about trade disputes have raised questions about whether exports of vehicles could become subject to tariffs, investors haven’t been sure whether GM and Fiat Chrysler will be able to sustain their impressive sales success into 2018.

Top 5 Warren Buffett Stocks To Invest In Right Now

Warren Buffett is taking a big bite of Apple. Very big.

The CEO of Berkshire Hathaway (BRKA) told CNBC on Friday that his company bought about 75 million shares of Apple (AAPL) stock during the first three months of the year. That adds to 165 million shares that Berkshire had at the end of last year.

Buffett called Apple an “unbelievable company,” and pointed out that it makes far more profit than any other American corporation.

“It’s an amazing business,” he said. “You can put all their products on a dining room table. That’s not the way it used to be in this country. It’s incredible to me.”

Buffett was relatively late to investing in Apple and tech stocks overall.

He didn’t report his first purchase of Apple shares until two years ago, when he bought 9.8 million shares of the company’s stock. He has added to those holdings since. Apple is now one of Berkshire’s largest holdings.

The latest purchase will increase Berkshire’s holding by 45%. It will be formally disclosed when the company releases its quarterly earnings filing, scheduled for release at its annual meeting on Saturday.

Top 5 Warren Buffett Stocks To Invest In Right Now: PRA Group, Inc.(PRAA)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Dan Caplinger]

Like many businesses, debt collection is a cyclical industry, and as a major player in that industry, PRA Group (NASDAQ:PRAA) is subject to the ups and downs of the economy. During good times, there aren’t as many nonperforming loans for PRA Group to collect on. Only when times get tough do default rates move higher, spurring many creditors to turn their collections over to PRA.

Top 5 Warren Buffett Stocks To Invest In Right Now: Netflix, Inc.(NFLX)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By Leo Sun]

Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX), which is partnered with iQiyi in China, launched a VR viewing app for Google’s Daydream-supported devices two years ago — but theapp was poorly received, with a two-star rating on Google Play. A common complaint about Netflix’s app — and VR videos in general — is that the experience is simply too cumbersome compared to regular viewing on TVs or other devices.

Markets continued their move higher on Monday, as investors turned their focus to corporate earnings, and tensions over the Syrian conflict eased for now. Bank of America (BAC) reported early, beating estimates, while Netflix (NFLX) is set to report after the close.

The stock market has been a bit volatile this year, but there are some sectors that are still experiencing significant share price gains. For example, the Nasdaq 100 Technology Sectoris up about 22% over the past 12 months. Those gains are pretty impressive, but a handful of tech stocks, including Square (NYSE:SQ) and Netflix(NASDAQ:NFLX), have seen their share price jump about five times as much.

Aphria (OTCQB:APHQF) just did something very unusual and frankly caught us by surprise. The company announced that it is amending its previously announced transaction with Nuuvera (OTC:NUUVF) by which the cash portion of the consideration will be lowered from $1.00 to $0.60. The announcement surprised us as our past experience suggested that lowering purchase price post-deal announcement is extremely uncommon, especially in the absence of major negative developments at the target. Simultaneously, Nuuvera announced that it is acquiring the remaining 49% minority interest in Avanti Rx Analytics from a minority shareholder for $43 million. Avanti is a subsidiary of Nuuvera that provides research and testing services for cannabis companies. Nuuvera claimed that the reduced cash offer helps fund its acquisition, which makes no sense for us.

  • [By Keith Speights]

Should Aurora actually buy MedReleaf, there could be considerable pressure on Canopy to make an acquisition of its own. One obvious target to buy would be Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF), which has roughly the same market cap as MedReleaf. But would this acquisition make sense for Canopy Growth? I think it could.

  • [By Sean Williams]

Right now, Cronos Group commands a market cap that’s just north of $1 billion. By comparison, Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) has 230,000 kilograms of fully funded capacity under construction, and it’s only valued at $1.6 billion. Aphria One and Aphria Diamond (the company’s joint venture with Double Diamond Farms) both dwarf Peace Naturals with respective annual yields of 100,000 kilograms and 120,000 kilograms. This is noteworthy since the cannabis industry often benefits from economies of scale. In other words, an increase in production usually leads to a decrease in costs, at least on a per-gram basis.

Top Blue Chip Stocks To Buy Right Now: Aphria Inc. (APHQF)

Check out Part 2 of this article, where Phillips shares a look at some other notable transactions announced last week, featuring Zynerba Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: ZYNE), Aphria Inc (OTC: APHQF), Invictus MD (OTC: IVITF) and more.

  • [By Todd Campbell]

While some marijuana companies are turning a profit, many marijuana companies are investing heavily in their businesses, and as a result, continue to lose money. For example, Aphria Inc. (NASDAQOTH:APHQF), a Canadian producer and marketer of medical marijuana, reported a net profit of $1 million over the past 12 months, but medical-marijuana drug developer GW Pharmaceuticals plc (NASDAQ:GWPH) reported a loss of $82.2 million last fiscal year.

  • [By Sean Williams]

This rapid growth in legal pot has create quite the demand for marijuana stocks. The seven largest marijuana stocks by market cap have all put on a show over the past couple of years. Here are those seven “green giants” listed with their market caps as of March 17, 2017, along with their trailing one-year total returns.

    GW Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:GWPH): $3.0 billion, up 64% Canopy Growth Corp. (NASDAQOTH:TWMJF): $904 million, up 259% Aphria (NASDAQOTH:APHQF) $440 million, up 381% Aurora Cannabis (NASDAQOTH:ACBFF): $482 million, up 299% AXIM Biotechnologies (NASDAQOTH:AXIM): $562 million, up 1,720% Corbus Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:CRBP): $450 million, up 431% Medical Marijuana (NASDAQOTH:MJNA): $221 million, up 254%

As you can see, these are some hefty valuations — and some exceptionally strong moves higher on the heels of marijuana’s expansion. With the exception of GW Pharmaceuticals, every one of the largest marijuana stocks has at least tripled in value over the trailing 12 months, with cannabinoid-based drug developer AXIM Biotechnologies skyrocketing more than 1,700%!

Top Blue Chip Stocks To Buy Right Now: ZELTIQ Aesthetics, Inc.(ZLTQ)

Advisors’ Opinion:

  • [By James E. Brumley]

This week, Botox maker Allergan plc (NYSE:AGN) shelled out $2.5 billion for body-sculpting outfit Zeltiq Aesthetics Inc (NASDAQ:ZLTQ). The pairing is a nice opportunity for both organizations to cross-sell to one another’s customers. Allergan’s Botox customers seeking a more youthful face will also likely want the better body Zeltiq Aesthetics provides, and Zeltiq Aesthetics’ customers are natural candidates for Botox injections that Allergan facilitates.

The acquisition, though, is just a microcosm of a bigger trend that’s still picking up steam. That trend is, as the industry’s capabilities to restore youth, slim waists, whiten teeth, improve skin, and nip and tuck here and there improve with science, demand for these increasingly effective ‘tweaks’ is soaring. Names like the aforementioned Allergan, Cynosure, Inc. (NASDAQ:CYNO), Zeltiq Aesthetics and Align Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:ALGN) are all driving impressive growth. And, they’re all looking to expand their footprint in front of the rising tide.

Not every name riding this growth wave is going to be a large cap stock or a household name though. There’s a small cap stock called RepliCel Life Sciences (OTCMKTS:REPCF, CVE:RP) that could soon be turning a lot of heads not just of investors, but of potential suitors.

In simplest terms, RepliCel Life Sciences has two key sciences that serve as the foundation for three therapies and one medical device.

The first of the two biological premises is based on the company’s non-bulbar dermal sheath fibroblast platform, and currently includes treatments for chronic tendinosis and skin aging. The second is the company’s dermal sheath cup (DSC) cell platform for the treatment of androgenetic alopecia (pattern baldness).

The three marketable products those two sciences are driving are RCT-01 for tendon repair, RCS-01 for skin rejuvenation, and RCH-01 for hair regeneration. The device is a dermal injector – currently categorized as R
