One reason for a potential stock market fall after the market opens is that all the so-called experts thought that the initial Trumptariffs were just meant to be an opening salvo that would then be followed by negotiations. It now appears we are entering a more serious and potentially a long term trade war that the market and so-called experts were not expecting.
